Mercantile Bank PLC. donated fertilizer at Daganbhuiyan in Feni. 1700 bags of fertilizer had been distributed to the farmers of Daganbhuiyan on February 10, 2024 from the special CSR fund of the bank. Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun), Sponsor Director & Chairman of Executive Committee of the bank handed over the fertilizer among farmers of Daganbhuiyan as the chief guest in a ceremony arranged at  Ataturk Govt. High School. Bank’s Managing Director & CEO Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury presided over the ceremony. Master Kamal Uddin, President of Daganbhuiyan Upazila Awami League & Chairman of Ramnagar Union parishad and Rokshana Siddiqi, Woman Vice Chiarman of Daganbhuiyan were present as special guests. Farid Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, SVP & Head of Bank’s Cumilla-Noakhali region, Mohammad Shafruzzaman Khan, FVP & Head of Agriculture Credit Division of MBPLC, Nur Nabi, Chairman of 1 No. Sindurpur Union, Masud Raihan, Chairman of 3 No. Purba Chandrapur Union, Belayat Ullah Swapan, Chairman of Dganbhuiyan Sadar Union, Md. Shahadat Hossain, FVP & Head of bank’s Feni branch, Monowar Hossain, Head of Daganbhuiyan branch, MBPLC HOB’s of Feni district, and the farmers were also present on the occasion.
