Opening an Account

To open a BO A/C an investor may apply in prescribed form along with the documents as mentioned below:

For individual / joint

1. Photocopy of valid Passport/National ID card/Nationality Certificate

2. Three (03) copies of Passport size photograph for individual and three copies (03) for    Joint Account Holder.

3. Two (02) copies Passport size photograph for nominee duly attested by A/C Holder.

4. Two (02) copies of passport size photograph of person authorized to operate the account duly attested by A/C Holder.

5. Bank statement and certificate from Branch Manager.

6. BO Account opening fee

For Corporate

1.Board Resolution for Account Opening

2. Certificate of Incorporation and Memorandum and Article of Association.

3. Three (03) copies of Passport size attested photograph for each signatory who

    will operate the Account

4. Bank Certificate from Branch Manager

5. BO Account opening fee

For Non Residence Bangladeshis (NRB)

1.Attested photocopy of Valid Passport with work permit/Residence Permit/Service Agreement/Driving License/Social Security Card

2. Three (03) copies of Passport size photograph for individual and three (03) copies for joint Account Holder.

3. Name of Nominee with particulars two (02) copies of Passport size photograph duly attested by A/C Holder.

4. Two (02) copies of Passport size photograph of person authorized to operate the account duly attested by A/C Holder.

5. Bank statement of F.C account and certificate from Branch Manager.

6. BO Account opening fee

At the time of opening account, the Account Holder(s)shall have to appear in person before the authorized officer of the company for completing legal formalities.

 The Account Holder(s) can nominate another person to operate BO account in the Prescribed from at the time of opening account. The operator shall carry authority

to operate the account freely. Actions of the operator in respect of operating BO

accounts will be treated as actions of the account holder(s). Incase of joint account,

either or both of the holders can operate the account.
